Well, I have some Swift Women Breaking NEWS! The hero of yesterday Flagstaff Challenge ride is: Jenny Devaud

Jenny made the Flagstaff climb all the way to the top when she had not planned for it, but she found the right motivation to do it while she was climbing. It has been 15 years since Jenny attempted Flagstaff Summit.

Congratulations Jenny for the big achievement. GO GIRL!!!

Women's Get together!!!

It will be a great opportunity to get together, share our summer's accomplishments and what we want to improve for 2009.

Sunday ride, September 28th

This Sunday September 28 - 9:30 a.m. at Vic's -30th and Iris
Weather still in the 80s, with some chance for rain not until late afternoon
Flagstaff ride with prizes for how far up we go.
Social end with brunch at Chautauqua.

Copper Triangle Swift Ride

Luisa took us on quite the ride starting in Vail, over Vail Pass and on to the rest of the Copper Triangle! I turned back at Vail Pass but the rest of the crew continued. We all met for Pizza and beer later. Great weather and very enjoyable company for a great ride.

Long Ride August 10th

Join us at 8 a.m. at Vic's (30th and Iris). Route: Lyons-St.Vrain-Raymond-Ward-Boulder. Moderate pace, mostly doing miles to get ready for Buffalo Classic.

Ride tonight, June 10

Meet at 6 p.m. at Eben Fine Park to go on a nice ride up the Boulder Creek Trail, then up Four Mile Canyon. 1.5 to 2 hours. Regroups as needed.

Womens' Ride, Sunday, June 1

Ride to Ward! Leave Vic's at 30th and Iris at 9 a.m.

Luisa, one of our own, has a company called Davanti Cycling and leads tours in Italy as well as providing training here. She sent me a couple of pictures of the terrain over there! Wow!
