Luisa, one of our own, has a company called Davanti Cycling and leads tours in Italy as well as providing training here. She sent me a couple of pictures of the terrain over there! Wow!

Dress warm and bring rain gear in case it rains. May be an abbreviated ride depending on weather....like straight to brunch! ; )

Riding with the men on Tuesdays

I've been riding with the men on Tuesdays on their climbing ride. Well, "riding with" is rather loosely stated. I start with them, but it's nice to just say hi anyway. I'd welcome any other women who want to ride regularly on Tuesdays.

New Rider Ride and Brunch, May 10th, 2008

We'll meet at Vic's at Iris and 30th for a casual loop, with a stop in Niwot for brunch at the Garden Gate Cafe on our way back to Boulder. Meeting time will be 9 am. See you there!

May 4, 2008: Ride up to Jamestown

About ten of us women and a couple of the men enjoyed a beautiful ride up to Jamestown today. Two of the women continued up Super James for an additional hard push. We all rode together and practiced a paceline. I think it was our first successful paceline, actually! Even with a wide range of ability, we all held together, which was nice for slower pokes like me. Jenny
